Due to unforseen circumstances this site is no longer in action as it cant be updated anymore due to technical problems

Its all begun again so fast and we've started with a win. Coolmine's first win in the LFL Div 1 as well as there first game in the Division. So all in all a good start by us. Coolmine travelled to Tallaght for their first match in this division to play a good Castletymon side who a week ago demolished a poor Bohs side 5-0. The match started well for us even though we were missing some key players we had lads ready to take on the fighting spirit of the Celts. 15 or 20 mins in and we got our break after some fine passing in midfield Dave Kerwan slid in a beautiful ball to myself(Fred) and I obliged to dink past the keeper to make it 1-0. The Tymon boys begun the fight back and were awarded with a goal aaround 10 mins from the end of the first half.

Willo was the key man in our second goal as he chased down a keeper that was taking his time and whipped the ball off him to tap in his first of the season to make it 2-1 to Coolmine. Second half was tough as we had to play up the hill but we showed our strenght as we piled on the pressure and were unlucky to have a good goal dissallowed by the ref only for him to give us a free kick 30 yards away. He apologised later to the gaffer and told he was sorry but at the time he thought it was the right thing to do. Anyway to cut a long story short our defense was fuckin mean and tymon got no goals in the second half which meant Coolmine started their new seasson in a higher division with a win. Special shout out to Cano and Gar for two outstanding displays. Finally we hope to see carpo back in action as soon as possible as he picked up a slight knock and could be out for a couple of weeks.. Till next week.........Aidos
